DOG TAGS IN TRENT LAKES

The Municipality of Trent Lakes has amended By-law B2018-079 Licensing of Dogs and Kennel Operations with by-law B2019-120 to amend S.3. Licensing, which has changed annual dog tags to lifetime dog tags.

The lifetime dog tags will be renewed annually by sending an invoice to the registered property owner and will only remain valid as long as the annual renewal fee is paid.

Lifetime dog tags are available at Municipal office, 760 Peterborough County Road 36, and all waste transfer stations during their normal business hours or can be obtained by completing the online form at www.trentlakes.ca.

The price before March 31 is $25 per tag. After March 31 the cost is $30 each.

Every attempt is made to locate an owner and return a lost dog to its home so please ensure that all licence and/or ID tags are up to date. Remember, a dog must be licensed or you will be considered liable.
