HYDRO ONE GETTING READY FOR WINTER

Hydro One workers will be out in force for the next several weeks in the area doing upgrades and maintenance including replacing poles and switches, to get ready for the winter season.

Here are some of the planned outages:

Sunday, September 29 between 7am and noon: Affecting 8,489 customers in Smith, Curve Lake First Nation, Douro, Harvey, Lakehurst, Buckhorn, Burleigh and Cavendish areas as well as power to Lakefield, which is served by Peterborough Utilities Group.

Tuesday, October 1 between 2am and 6am: Affecting 1,130 customers in Lindsay and OPS.

Thursday, October 3 between 2am and 6am: Affecting 1,290 customers in Fenelon Falls, Verulam, OPS and Emily

Sunday, October 6 from 7am to 10am: Affecting 729 customers in Bobcaygeon.

Tuesday, October 8 between 2am and 6am: Affecting 377 customers in Fenelon Falls
