A WALK TO REMEMBER
On July 4, 2019, at Case Manor, Bob Peel’s Riverwalk officially opened. Bob Peel was a resident at Case Manor. One of his dreams was to develop a pathway that went from the home down to the water, so the residents could enjoy the view and watch the boats go by.
While cleaning out his room, after he had passed, his family found his sketchbook where he had drawings of pathways he thought might work. Over the next year and a half they raised money through events and family and friends, to build the pathway Bob had always dreamed of.
On July 4, 2019, MPP Laurie Scott attended Bob Peel’s Riverwalk event for the official ribbon cutting.
Residents are now able to sit by the water, enjoy the view and watch the boats with family and friends.
