MUSIC COUNCIL NOTES

Members of the Council is looking forward to the upcoming concert. Michael Bridge is an accomplished accordionist and we are sure he will present a wonderful performance.

Our artistic director, Kathryn Terry, has been hard at work procuring the artists for the Summer’s Concerts in the Park. All Adult and Childrens' concerts are now fully booked so get ready for some wonderful Thursday evenings down by Lock 32.

Applications are already coming in for the Music Camp held at Settlers' Village. Each year it attracts more students and what they learn in a week is amazing, all thanks to Bev Tombler.

Many of the local and area businesses have either sponsored or advertised with the Music Council. This is a huge undertaking for Bill Fry and Ken Boyd for procuring these funds and we would like to send out to the sponsors and advertisers a huge thank you. Without you, we could not provide the music that we do.
