Students Raise Funds for Affordable Housing

Local youth from St. Dominic Catholic Elementary School pitched in to raise money to help fund construction of a semi-detached home currently being built on Hamilton Street in Lindsay, by Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region. A special presentation took place recently at the school’s morning assembly, where the school’s We Team and club leader, Anne Ginn, presented Habitat with a donation of $1,247.35.
