Curling for Health

On Saturday January 25, the Fenelon Falls Curling Club hosted its annual Charity Bonspiel and raised $2,800 for the Kawartha North Health Team operating out of both Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon.

The Health Team is a totally self funding local health initiative that receives no government support whatsoever. Since its inception it has treated over 10,000 patients. It is staffed by a Nurse Practitioner and an Registered Practical Nurse in both localities.

Pharmasave in Fenelon Falls has provided space to the group at no charge and is open Friday from 9 to 2pm. The clinic in Bobcaygeon is open Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4 to 7pm, located across from the Esso Station at Hwy. 36 and Mill Street. Donations from interested community members can be made at either clinic.
