Thirteen talented and promising young soloists from the University of Toronto’s Voice Performance program sing the arias in Handel's sublime oratorio, Messiah. Join the 100 voices of the Peterborough Singers, Ian Sadler on the pipe organ, and trumpets and timpani on Monday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Emmanuel United Church, 534 George St North, Peterborough.

Apparently, writing a masterpiece like the Messiah in 24 days was not an unusual feat for Handel. He wrote an entire opera in one week after he finished his most famous oratorio!
